"To young people in their 20's, my advice would be unashamedly to search for love. It is the indispensable commodity to a full life. You might not find it, or you may not find it where you thought you'd find it. If you find it, then you're a very lucky human being."

coming out

so to put it straight, ha, i came out to my parents, via, a notebook.

yeah.

i wrote my story, my feelings, what i couldn't express verbally, all in a notebook for them to read.

it went well actually.

but we're still having a small talk sometime soon.

but i'd say my idea was successful and i'm glad. this sort of thing can be nerve-racking for some people. i myself were anxious as anything. if i were to have sit down with my parents, it would have never come out the way it did on paper.

so, idea for people finding it hard to 'çome out', try this? mhm mhm.

none of my poetry will be on the walls of fed square for the overload poetry festival.

apparently this wasnt good enough...

"the monsters we present, shape our hearts descent

wether we just fall or live to prevent.,

Taking life by the eyes will see you represent

A new world, here."

When you don't want to feel... death can seem like a dream. But, seeing death - really seeing it... makes dreaming about it fucking ridiculous.

- Girl, interrupted.
So i guess i'm not a real poet since i'm yet to actually perform or do a reading.
Much apologies.

not ready

i pulled out of the poetry slam. the end.

Overload Poetry Festival

So it has finally arrived here in Melbourne for the nineth time so farrrrrrr.

exciting

I'm mostly interested and looking upwards to the Overload Poetry Slam
I'll be competing in it, as far as i know, if i dont pull out by lack of 'çourage' thereof.

ALSO.

Throughout the festival, which is by the way from September 10th to the 19th there will be poems, haikus etc being screened on the fed square building that has electronic text boxes on it. i submitted a poem so you might just come across something i wrote and not realise it :P

Check it out http://www.overloadpoetry.org/

It's gonna be funbelievable

Cancelling Accounts

i've decided that i'm going to cancel my account on etsy.
the shortest account i've ever had.
it was a nice idea of having one
maybe i'll make it again when i have more funds,
but for now i am etsy-account-less.
Sticky of course though still have stock of my zines :D
AND I'M ALWAYS UP FOR TRADES!

Cheers,

Sweat Zine Issue 5 just out now!

So Jess, the wonderful maker of this zine is always looking for contributors.
Me being one of them, this 5th issue she's just brought out features an interview i did with her and a drawing of mine on the cover!!!
It's probably the best issue she's done so far, featuring several other brilliant peeps so i suggest you check it out!

Thanks be to Jess Bunyan, i enjoy what you do very much!
